Reporting an Employer to ICE?

A few people mentioned that ICE may ask "why didn't your report this earlier?". I doubt they would do that. It's not his job to monitor immigration issues at the school. He can't be held responsible for what the school does.

Furthermore, I doubt he'd be filing any sort of "false report". He's merely asking ICE to check the status of a few people.

I say you should get in touch with ICE and tell them that people have been working as CFI's and you'd like to ensure that they are doing so legally. If they're legal, then so be it, if not, well...

Swisspilot,

Speaking from experience, every country in Europe is about 4 times more difficult to either get a work visa or to start the actual immigration process, maybe even 6 times as difficult for Americans.

I got a "Schengen States" 6-month work visa! :) Took about err, an awkward 45 minutes at the French Consulate in 'Lanna arguing over 2mm on the size of my visa photo.

I'll have to tell you about the Los Betos that was taken down in TUS......all that food left over that would go to waste..........:)

Hah! Back when I was in Tuscon I remember Betos having an entirely new staff every couple months after the most recent raid.

Ok, riddle me this.

You're playing high stakes poker, Rolando goes "all in" and wins the stash.

Rolando overstayed his student visa and is a Peruvian national.

Is that compelling enough for ICE/BP? :)

Rolando discovers that American rule poker is very confusing and borrows a few dollars from me to get home.

I can tell you that as you describe it above, it'll be put on a low priority. Why? There's no substantial information or evidence, and ICE has a ton more higher priority cases to go after before chasing down a case of sour grapes after the fact.
