The only proper response to someone bragging about their credit/paycheck is “that’s it?”

(Just like the only answer to “is it in yet?” Is “I don’t know.”)

Anyone who brags about money, or material possession is a very insecure person and wants to cloak their insecurity with braggadocio. Those types are typically the most lonely and miserable people on the Earth to be around.
