Realignment Round 2 at 9E

Here is a question that is floating around the crew room... if you are currently under a seat lock but the anticipated class date would be after your seat lock is up can a pilot bid different equipment?

There must be a lot of people floating around the crew room that can't read :banghead:...per the contract:

Section 24 Filling of Vacancies, Part C Equipment Freezes, Subpart 5:

A freeze will commence on the first (1st) day following the eighth (8th) week after a
Pilot’s class date or when the Pilot actually completes training, whichever is
sooner. A freeze will not prevent a Pilot from being awarded a new category with
a class date after the expiration of the freeze, even though the award may occur
prior to the expiration of the freeze.

Wow. I was thinking the Saabs in MSP and DTW going away would trigger a lot of displacements. Looks like those spots are just moving over to the -200 in those bases. Unless those guys WANT to move to another base, looks like they'll still be able to stay in MSP or DTW on the CA side. And OMGWTFBBQ? Why so many new JFK CAs? Even MEM saw an increase in -200 CA slots. Guess that displacement that's been coming will have to wait until the next vacancy.....

Rocketman, come on over to JFK.....as long as you're junior to me. :)

So if there are no more crews in BOS does this mean that the bid covers all the way into spring '12? Or that they will have to TDY people ?

from the cjc mec fb page

The line awards for all bases of the combined pilot group have been posted to the joint TA website www.ALPA.org/PNCLJCBA Keep in mind the seniority numbers listed are still from the respective properties pre Seniority List Integration. Simply cross reference the name of the pilots to the Integrated Seniority List to see where you would stand for the purposes of schedule bidding. The ISL can be found on the MEC website Colgan.alpa.org

The links are broken . I tried getting the 9E JFK FO award and it keeps giving me the 9E MEM FO award.

Not looking good for this 9E DTW FO... too close for comfort.

What is your DOH? I am trying to decide on DTW or not but its doubtful I can hold it... After it is all said and done. Right now I can but we will see oct 4th

You don't want me to come to JFK then Steve... :) I'd be #13 in base based off the people in the Sep award.

S'okay. I might be going back to MEM anyway. With the -200 going up 22 spots, it's actually a good bet I can hold it again. The Florida move is on hold thanks to the banksters (for those of you that have houses and are looking to move without selling, start saving a year or two ahead of time for it. They want 6 months of payments for BOTH mortgages in the bank right now), plus I can still commute to MEM from Florida if we DO get something. There's even a chance with that many openings I might even be a (wait for it) line holder in MEM. Stryder, that goes for you, too. You're senior to me. :)

Heck yeah!

Get some of the good captains back down here :)

sure would be nice to get the ready reserve "A" team back together down there. I have MEM 200 then MEM 900 as my first two choices. sorry to hear about the house dilemma. for some reason i thought you were already out of town.

Interested to see if there are any 9L downgrades since our Saab fence will be dropping a few numbers.

Me too. If so, maybe I will just have to get myself a cowboy hat, belt buckle and head to Houston to do the inevitable transition. Otherwise, ATL 900FO sounds delicious!

Okay for those of us outsiders, what's the rundown? All Saabs going away? Or just some? I have many friends over there, so just curious. Inquiring minds want to know!

With 20 captains getting desplaced from BOS does that reduce the 152 fenced colgan saab positions to 132? Or is there some other formula?

Interesting. I just purchased a second home and my bank manager looked at all my income verification and other paperwork and promptly said, "Great! I wish everyone had your credit and income level, this makes it so easy. You're sure you don't want a bigger house? LOL." My bank said nothing about requiring 6 months of payments in the bank. You might try another bank, or you might not have that great of credit or other issues. It pays to shop around for the best mortgage deal.
