So if you were a type rated pilot in a CE-500 type airplane under part 91 how does that pic time convert towards the 121 upgrade where 1000 hours is needed. Thanks in advance

121.436(a)(3) - If serving as pilot in command in part 121 operations, has 1,000 hours as second in command in operations under this part, pilot in command in operations under §91.1053(a)(2)(i) of this chapter, pilot in command in operations under §135.243(a)(1) of this chapter, or any combination thereof.

If you look at the various times that count for the 1000 hours to upgrade, they are all operations that require an ATP by FAR. No straight Part 91 job requires an ATP by rule, only a commercial.

Even PIC time in a 135 on-demand King Air 90 doesn’t count.
