Quasimoto Pilots

To carry on the spirit of this thread since it won't die, I must report a '• Laroux' sighting today. In DEN I saw a captain for that 'other' UAL Express carrier with a backpack on, shirt half hanging out and get this...an ORANGE rollerboard! WTFO?!

Oh well, enough of this stuff...sitting in LAX right now and the wife and I are heading off to Hawaii for a few days. Keep the fingers crossed for first class! Cheers! :)

Bonne chance and happy vacation

I think I'll buy a Dolce & Gabbana or Armani suit and have it fit to look like a pilot uniform.

Who says you can't wear one in style? :)

Sure won't forget the hat!

How do you increase your chances of getting hired? By out-dressing the HR people. If you come in with a very expensive suit, they will notice.
I had a very nice dark blue pinstriped suit. On the lapel, I had a small set of silver wings. Looked really cool. Yes, they hired me that day on the spot. It must have been the wings:)

Laugh about the hat as much as you like, but not wearing one will get you a trip off without pay at Southernjets.

Same at the "other" ATL based airline. You may get away with it for a little while at the outstations, but eventually management will catch you in the hub. Honestly, some guys go to more effort to get away with not wearing it by keeping it at the ready hanging on their bag than they would by just putting the dang thing on when they walk off the airplane.

Hey, I don't have a problem wearing it if it's required. I've said that before. If they make it an "option," then that means it's my choice. I just think too many people get WAY wrapped around the axle on the whole hat thing.
