PUBNAT7 emails are out!!!!

what did you score on your at-sat? from what i've seen, it looks like the possible class date for pubnat7 may be late summer timeframe, like around august. hopefully i will getting an email soon too.

The contact on the email said they don't notify an applicant which terminal they were selected for. She does know, just that she "can't" tell me. She also said they do it that way so that if the interviewer(or somebody) feels they would do better at a different facility, they can then change it. I even tried to get her to tell me which region of VA I was selected for and she wouldn't budge. The way I see it is I don't care if it changes-so tell me and if it does get changed, oh well. If not then whatever.

LOL! It's nothing we can do about it but take it or not. If they only knew how happy we are just to be selected. I'm sure there are a few that will complain.

That's what I suspected. Back in the day, it wasn't terribly uncommon to have your FOL end up being for a different facility than what was on your TOL, which was frustrating for a lot of people. I guess they figured that it was a better tradeoff to deal with the inconvenience of not knowing where you are within a state than to make plans for a specific city and have it changed on you.

Sucks, but better than having rented/bought a place and secured a job for your significant other somewhere only to have it changed on you.

With that said... if you know who to ask, it's not impossible to get them to tell you. *cough*

Unfortunately I don't have one of those contacts who will just tell me. Actually it would be really nice to know at least the region of VA, cuz if it's something other than what I put down in my geo pref email, then there's a chance I might turn it down. I don't want to work in Newport News or Richmond. Those places are too far away since my family and I live in MD. I can commute to DCA, IAD, PCT, HEF, but I can't really commute or would want to commute to those other places. My gf most certainly isn't going to move across the Potomac and live in VA since she's stationed just outside Baltimore. Just as long as they paid attention to my geo pref county selections I will be happy.

Why would you think it is sketchy? Why don't you go check stuckmic.com and you will find plenty of others who have gotten one. I will grant you that most were CTI/VRA/and OTS with veteran's preference. Just check stuckmic before claiming I put up a "sketchy" email, if that is in fact what you were referring to.

I just got off of the phone with a former regional manager and he said only 75 people were picked up from the October Panels. He did not give any detailed info about the applicants who were picked up. So it looks like almost all of us will be waiting for the January panel. Oh well. Just giving you guys a heads up.

No need to be upset. Remember, you're trying for the job, not guaranteed this job.

I've been turned down from Panels for PUBNAT4,5, and 6! It's just the way it is, keep on the horse, and stay positive!

That's cuz you're a youngin Big. Otherwise you would have been so snatched by now.

Haha got an age limit of 31, and min of 18. You would think they would fully exercise their options in only 14 years of potential.

I'm really hoping i can make it this panel. 1 1/2 years of college under the belt now in a CTI school and even MORE work experience!

Shoot, if not, well thankfully i'm a little more than half way done with CTI!:insane:

I don't want to check stuckmic. I think the email is VERY sketchy and I was wondering if I was the only person who thought so. If you got offended..... too bad

what's sketchy about getting an e-mail from an FAA address saying that you got a job that you applied for 2 weeks after they held a hiring panel? I didn't get an e-mail but I don't feel that this is in any way "sketchy."

:yeahthat:
I would be bouncing off the walls if I got an email. I hope to get one soon, but what is another few months waiting time? Good luck everyone.
