Got an offer for Virginia today! No specific facility oddly. :rawk::)

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position in Virginia.

The next step in the process is for you to decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer to interview. You will be receiving correspondence from several different offices. Please respond to all correspondence/emails/telephone messages. You must respond to this inquiry in order to be scheduled for an interview.

This process begins with you being scheduled for an interview. You may have heard of the Pre-Employment Processing Centers (PEPCs) at which applicants can be interviewed and initiate all of the pre-employment processing. At this time, there are no PEPCs scheduled so we plan to have you interviewed at an FAA facility located close to where you live. Your interview will be scheduled at Baltimore International Air Traffic Control Tower (BWI) in Baltimore, MD unless you notify us that you have relocated.

If you successfully complete your interview and are recommended, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps.

What you need to do today or not later than the close of business on November 18, 2009 is respond to this email with the following information:

1. Decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer to interview. If you decide to decline the ATCS position for which you are being considered, let us know. This decision must be in writing.

2. Review your contact information provided above (name, address, phone numbers, email address) and provide any corrections or updates. If you have not updated your information in ASAP, you need to do so in addition to providing corrections to us for the interview process.

3. Tell us if the facility and location identified for your interview are satisfactory or if another facility and location are preferable. Terminal candidates must interview at a terminal facility. Our system identifies the closest facility with an authorized interviewer to your current address.

We will acknowledge your response by return email. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and definitely by November 18, 2009. Remember: The earlier you respond to this message, the sooner you will be sent forward and scheduled for an interview.

Please let us know if we can be of any assistance.

Congrats! Looks like you'll most likely be going to Potomac Tracon! Good luck in that monster!

Thanks. I was really hoping for ZDC. I guess I'll find out at some point. PCT would definitely be a workout, but I suppose anywhere would be. Ultimately anywhere in northern virginia would be nice.

congrats! hopefully there are more to come :insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane::insane:

what email adress did it come from? or atleast what did it start with? cause my email is weird and i have to search for the adress it was sent from, knowing the first letter or two would help lol

Congrats on the e-mail! I am glad to see that someone with a 92.7 got an e-mail. Somewhat rules out the 'greater than 95 only' idea that was floating around.

HOLD ON, HOLD ON, HOLD ON...
You have also applied to PUBNAT4, right?

And took a test last year...

How do you know it's PUBNAT7?...

While the e-mail doesn't specifically say I was selected for PUBNAT7, it does give the date that corresponds to the panels last week. Since I declined the offer for PUBNAT4, I think it's safe to assume it was for #7.

No I was not the only one to get an email. I don't think anyone else that did has posted on Jetcareers. If you check www.stuckmic.com you will find that a few other people got one. As far as I can tell those people were either CTI or OTS(veteran's preference non-ATC). Veteran's preference does not equal VRA. I just want to clear that up before people start asking like they did on stuckmic.

There will be more e-mails don't worry. When the e-mails for Pubnat 5-6 came they were coming out over a 2 week span. I was one of the very last to receive the e-mail... but one of the first to get a class date! ;)

HTOWN, you made my night. Now at least I can wait in peace. Thanks.
