The PUBNAT1 applicants weren't told where they were going until they got to the PEPC. They received an email with the state only, not the specific facility. PUBNAT2 applicants received an email telling them the specific facility when they received the PEPC invite.

So it could go either way...

I was told there was a center somewhere near Dulles, but have not been able to find anything about it. Is there some sort of list with all the Center names and contacts on them?

ZDC - Washington Center... it's in Virginia... I think Leesburg
 
e-mails go out about 2 months before the panel meets.

so if we are infact combining with pubnat3 on the january 13th panel then our e-mails should be any day now.:rolleyes:
 
PUBNAT1 and PUBNAT2 both received the preferences 5 weeks before the panels met... so judging by that, they should be out in the December 8th area. We've also heard they'll be out by the end of November, so it's really anyone's guess.
 
You know..I am a very patient person. I am a peer tutor, for math. So I have to be patient to a fault.

And this is starting to grind on me.

Lets hope Thanksgiving brings us good news this year, because T-giving has been a bitch in recent years for me.

You will know what facility you are selected for before the pepc. The hr people at the pepc today said that they give you the location to prevent wasting time and money for people that go to a pepc and turn down the facility. Also they said that there is no negotiating the facility in your interview.

Confirm how? I'm not saying you're wrong, but nearly all of what I've heard about that has just been speculation. Who did you speak with that makes it official?

I like that date. Would take one sooner, of course, but all things considered, January 12th ain't bad. Puts me on course for the Academy in summer (roughly), which means I'd be able to bring my wife up to OKC with me after her graduation instead of having to be apart.

They keep confirming that pub 3 and 4 will be combined. However, i asked an HR lady at the PEPC if this was true and she told me that each application has its own panels. The only reason I asked was for a friend in Pub4's application cycle...

So take that for what you will...or confirm what you want....
