Thanks, I got the same exact e-mail yesterday except it said TERMINAL.

When did you get that first e-mail?

Did you request NY?

Sorry about all the ?s...

I am now trying to figure out if NY is full at this point!!!

I called AC earlier today. The woman I spoke to looked my information up but didn't say whether or not I'd been selected, but just told me that if I hadn't heard anything by mid-February I'd need to re-apply....

I was hoping for a better answer. :(

It's okay, keep your head up!

Just stay focused on that next PUBNAT! They're going to be hiring controllers for a bit, so dont give up that easily. I know at first you just feel so down, but once you realize that you're not out of the picture, it's not so bad. Dont look at it you didnt get it, just look at it that it's delayed a little bit more!:rawk:

I got that email yesterday and a more specific one today. I just sent my NY pepc request in five min ago and two min ago got a spot in NY so don't think it's full. At least for Enroute people.

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an
Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the Albuquerque Air
Route Traffic Control Center (ZAB) Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Wow wish that was the case for me! I sent my PEPC request on Friday and still haven't received confirmation!

I called earlier but my PEPC POC (Not HR) had an out of office recording stating to contact someone else. So i called but she cut me off in the middle of a sentence saying she couldn't help me, didn't have any information and the original POC is trying to sort through all of it...

I guess just like many of us have seen here - with any job for that matter - some people are on the ball...and others simply are not.

Good luck and congrats to all who hit the homerun and got a facility, to all of us who missed this pitch here is to the next one in 4 months, if we are luck.

Yep, I agree too (me being a "Q" only too). I think that is true about how many positions they have open for that particular Pubnat. If they need more controllers they will hire from "WQ" and "Q". However, this is my 2nd pubnat and I still haven't recieved an email.... So, I'm planning on re-taking the AT-SAT come May 2009. They told me I have to wait 1 Year to retake it.

I also am going on 31 (well, in a few years), I'm 27, but I really don't want to wait until I'm 30 to get picked up.

So, I will be re-taking it if I don't make this one, because I missed Pubnat 4-6. I did apply for Pubnat7, but that is pretty far out in the future.

(AT-SAT 78%).

hey, i still havent gotten my pepc confirmation, anyone else get the hr email after the email telling you about the center your going to

I got the email telling what center and the one confirming what day my PEPC was on but no times or anything!? But I did just email my family docs in today so that could of held that up. I dunno......

i lost hope:banghead:

Me too. Even though I called AC and they said they definitely aren't done, I just don't see myself getting an 11th hour reprieve. Guess I'll be able to finish that CFI license I've been putting off for a few months now. :panic:

Did they tell you that? If not, then don't worry about it. They haven't done anything for the last three days.

Personally, I'm choosing to believe the rumors that they're not done yet and may still be contacting people through the middle of next week. In the mean time, it's Friday, work's over, and I'm thinking it's just about beer o'clock.

Hunker down for the weekend, try not to think about it too much, and see what next week brings....
