I tried calling but I can never ever get through to anyone.

It's been 14 days since the last of us got scores. I think PUBNAT2 was contacted in the third week.

Here's hoping the 2-3 month thing is wrong.

That's what I'm sayin!!! I take anything they say with a grain of salt. I called and asked when we would get our test scores for PUBNAT3 and she said it would be another 4-6 weeks. The results posted in less than two hours of that phone call...

The people down there are really nice, I just don't think anyone really knows when things are going to happen. They happen when they get to them i suppose...
 
I just can't hold it anymore!!! I need to get my GEO PREF out now. I check my email every single day followed by the FAA application for status updates. By the time I make it to PEPC I will fail the physical due to HIGH BLOODPRESSURE from all the stress:yup:.

Anyways... lets see what happens. I am assuming the GEO PREF will be sent out this month :rawk:.
 
I highly doubt that we will receive our geo. prefs until after PUBNAT2's referral list is out.

However, once we do, the process will be nearly over -- only referral lists, panels/pepc invites would be left.

Would you happen to know when PUBNAT2's referal list will be out?
 
No one knows they exact day but it should be coming up shortly. Basically, you'll know when there's a sudden hupala and thread titles "REFERRAL LISTS! OMGZORZ!"

If the rumors are true that our panels start meeting next week, we'd have to have them either today or tomorrow... and we still don't have them :rolleyes:

Although someone did post that they called and the lists are made and ASAP just hasn't been updated, so really they can do whatever they want with that :panic:
 
If the timeline holds true, we would be getting geographic preferences this week.

PUBNAT1 and PUBNAT2 each finished testing in the middle of one month and got their geo preferences the first week of the next month. One got them on the 2nd, one on the 4th.

I'd realllllly love it if pattern held true. But the first week of this month is already almost over. :(
 
PUBNAT2 came out 8/4 and you were encouraged to make your selection before 8/24 so almost three weeks. The email said you could submit after that particular date but "replies submitted after Sunday, August 24, 2008 will diminish your ability to be selected for these positions."
 
I wish the terminal/enroute choices were able to be listed in order of preference. I'd much prefer a terminal job if it is available, but will take an enroute job, because I wish to get into the field. A person who lists only "terminal" would be selected for it before me, and that really would stink.

Does anyone know if the Nevada geo. selection lists counties? I heard that some states do, and some don't. If not, I could placed in Reno, which is a 9-10 hr. drive away.

No matter what state(s) you pick, you still get the comment box. It suggests that you use the box for selecting counties in larger states (CA, TX, NY), but you could give it a try and list your Nevada county pref.
