Pubnat2 e-quip

I finally got around to logging into Equip, I am not in a hurry as I don't go to a Pepc until late January, and I was wondering about the SSBI requirement of 10 years history. Does that apply to us?

I think most of it was 7-year, but I would always err in favor of the 10-year if you're not sure... I did. Of course, ten years ago I was 15, so, ya'know.

Yes. I had e-mailed my rep she advised that en route was 10 years where applicable.

OK, but we do not have to go further back than 18 years old right? I can barely remember the jobs I have had as an adult, let alone all my high school jobs.

My eqip says you have to go back to 16??

When you are listing jobs do you have to count unemployment if you were enrolled in college???

I put unemployed... I put that I was a Full Time College student in the additional notes section..It wont look bad...

I wasn't worried about it looking bad, i was just worried about finding someone to use to verify it, haha

Can you use relatives for this one?

I didn't use a relative for this... but..I did use a relative for another period of unemployment..

I used a relative for one of my "Where did you go to school"s since she registered me for the class

This thing is a pain in my (_|_) lol

I thought I've been done for a week but every day I come back and keep looking at it, haha it's worse than my thesis I had to write for graduation!!

I'M 90% sure for employment verification you only need to go back 7 years, going back more than that would probably put most of us back in High School anyway, and the form also states that you do not need to list High School era jobs unless you need to do so to reach the work experience qualification.

No, not unless you have to go back beyond 18 years of age to fulfill the employment requirements of 3 or more years...so unless you are 20 years old right now I would not worry about it.

Is anyone having trouble trying to find their Selective Service Number? I go to the website, find nothing except to call a number, which seems to not work....
:panic:

For all of you (myself included) who are air carrier pilots and did not include your crew IDs which allow you access to CASS and your 121 employee ID on your e-QIP and already released the document- you can call the FAA Office in DC and they will allow you to re-access your SF-86. It takes 5 mintues to re-release your e-QIP. The main IT number for the FAA Security Office is staffed even on weekends.

Do not wait to the PEPC- all your typed info is saved on the application but you have to go back and check off again all the yes or no's.
