PUBNAT 5- Announcement ending 7/31

arrrrggggg.....84.7
With airline experience, anyone w similar experience and score get
accepted?

I got an 82.5, furloughed Airline pilot, Bachelors degree in Aeronautics minor in Air Traffic Control. I ordered my green book months before the exam. I got it one night before my test. I should have studied more!! I hope this is good enough too!

i took the exam at BWI.

Just checked for my scores( i wasnt expecting to do good at all)

I wound up getting a 90.8

this really really cauight me off guard. Thought i bombed the test for sure. At the end i just wanted to get out of there because i thought i did so bad

now the waiting begins i guess :)

I talked to a couple people that were at the CSP last week and was told no one was selected with a qualified score other than CTI grads. :( another confirmation that it's not looking good for people that scored under 85.

After lurking here a while, I figured it's time to make myself known now that I got my results back.

Took the test in Chicago (Lisle) this past Saturday, the 17th. Got my results back today. Scored a 87.5.

does anyone have a website with the process in order

so far i got my atsat scores. i guess i am waiting on the geo pref email?

will there a notification on asap or will i have to check my email?

i ask because when i got my notification to take the atsat, the mail was actually in my spam mail

i really would like to get the ball rolling here

im probably going to choose Philadelphia. any word if they are in need of ATCs there?

Hey, I'm not sure if this is anywhere else, but has anyone ever heard of someone scoring really high (like 95+) on the AT-SAT and NOT making it to an interview? From what I've seen, most people that score pretty high have a real good shot at making it. Just seeing if I was way off base I guess.

Hmmm...I don't know their exact score, but I do remember seeing a few people score high and not get an invite. If you really want to know, there's a thread for the people who didn't get a PEPC invite from PUBNAT2 and their reasons why they think they didn't get picked.

Yes. Myself being one of them. It really depends on your geographic preferences.

That makes sense I suppose. I see A LOT of people who say they've put Florida and Georgia and New York And Pennsylvania. Texas too. So, by that logic, putting western states would seem like a good idea. Like Arizona or Utah or something doesn't seem to have to many people who put those down.

I havent been keeping up on the 5+6 Pubnat's but do you guys know when GEO PREF emails are supposed to come out? A buddy of mine is asking me and I havent heard anything. Has Careers given a estimate?

Thanks!

no clue when they should be coming out but im hoping at least before the end of February.

When I e-mailed their response was "we don't have a date for you yet. Please check back with us in about three weeks." So, I figure tomorrow (the 3 wk mark) I'll e-mail again...after all, they told me to ;)

Let us know what they say... My guess is the end of February.

All we can do is wait. It'll come when it comes. Whenever they tell you when it will happen, take it with a grain of salt. The government doesn't have any profit margins, they can go as slow as they please.

Frankly, I'm not expecting to start hearing anything substantial until at least June, perhaps later. If it comes sooner, then cool, but honestly hoping that we start doing the stuff after the Geo Pref emails before summer is just going to drive me a little insane.
