My choices are going to be CO and FL (Terminal). I lived in FL for 4 years (school and flight instructing) and I miss it. The wife really wants to get back there too.
I am a "on the street" airline pilot...have lost my job 3 times in the last 6 years due to furloughs and companies going out of business. My dad is an Air Traffic Manager, so grew up around ATC...thought I would try this route...a bit more stable! I am actually hired by a regional airline, but had my class/start date canceled this past summer...waiting for a re-call.
So you are looking at going to Denver Center in Longmont? That would be convenient.
Good luck to you.
CO all over the state was my first choice on all my apps, and I've never lived there. I would probably be cool with anywhere in that state but where would be the more ideal places to live there?
Do you all think PUBNAT 5 will have to wait for PUBNAT 6 to finish testing before receiving Geo-Prefs? PUBNAT 6 is testing with 5 right?
Chris and FShelBrow3209, thanks for the info. Although I do have to ask, any particular reasons to avoid Pueblo and East of I-25 North of Denver? Also, if you get Minnesota or OKC as a post, I'd be more then willing to help out of where to live, and that goes for anyone else.

Thanks for that offer to help...we'll see if I make it that far!
Pueblo just isn't a very good city in general IMO. As far as East of Denver, it becomes very sparse, lots of wide open high desert type areas...lots of tumble weeds! It just depends on personal preference and what type of life style you want. If you are the type that likes being in the middle of nowhere and not too close to "attractions," live ENE of Denver. If you want to have a feeling of suburb type living, but have access to everything within a reasonable drive (10-25) minutes, live in the Western/Southern suburbs of Denver. Though Castle Rock is growing like crazy, it still has the small town feel but everything you want and need close by. We love it here.
Just drove 5 1/2 hours up to Chicago to take the test tomorrow (1/7) in Lisle. Hope it all goes okay......
At least we all get the chance to spend several months bonding. Maybe we'll make some lifelong buddies out of our common experience of waiting around for a year.
This idea just crossed my mind when I read your post and I can picture it now...half of the students in the classes in OKC will be asking, "You were on jetcareers? What's your s/n?"
"Hey...yea, I remember you!" :laff:
Just got back from Baltimore and the AT-SAT therenow the waiting begins again

Is there anybody here who took the test on Jan 7th in ORD (LISLE)?
The time is coming up get our test results back. :rawk:
I took it on the 5th and got my score (95) back earlier this week.
