What are the actual hours of shifts for PSA dispatch during the 24 hour day?
At my regional, there’s AMs, Swings, PMs, and midnights. If you need to do something, you just have someone watch your desk and you go warm up lunch, get coffee, take a piss, whatever. If it’s not busy, you can go for a walk and stretch your legs. But typically, you’re not going to be constantly working while at the desk. In fact, barring an IROP, you’ll likely be able to take a break whenever.Roger that...I saw the 4-3 10Hrs on the spreadsheet, was just curious when are you working the 10 hour shift within the 24 hour day? It looked like there may have been a few posters on this thread that have worked at PSA before that would know. Trying to visualize what one of these ten hour shifts would be like in my head. From reading other posts it sounds like your on duty for ten hours with no significant break other than to refill the coffee, take a leak, or any other bodily administrative tasks needed, which is the way I like to work anyway.
