Preliminary Schedule Up

again, we have no $$ for that right now. that might change in the near future and if so, then we can take a look at getting someone or renting a machine. if someone has a karaoke machine, maybe they could ship it and we'd be able to do it that way.

other that, we have our PS2 that has karaoke revolution or we have the Wii that has Garage Band

but we'll certainly keep it in consideration as we get closer here...

I say we just take it a step further and do Rock Band. Karaoke with mics, drums and guitars. Cost a lot less to hook an Xbox into the Palm's A/V system than it would to hire a karaoke DJ, too.

Kristie, did you guys ditch the Xbox? I know you had one for a while.
 
oh no, we still have it! haven't been able to play lately though...too much to do :(

if we did rock band, you'd have to ship out all the equipment... we have guitar hero stuff (guitar, drums, mic), not rock band.

Actually, those work with Rock Band. Ever since people realized they'd have rooms of plastic instruments, they made them cross compatible. :) If my plan works out and I take FedEx to LAS, I could probably bring some stuff out. More room on FedEx for carry-on stuff than on the airlines.

Sean can find a way to allocate the instruments, and me, him and Steve can play some tunes!

Too bad it'd all be straight up metal and people would probably be left wondering "WTFO" while Kristie and the one other metal person around here are like "D00D THIS IS AWESOME!"

Id be down for this also. Im not sure I will be making it this year. Im moving to Murfreesboro, TN in August then the DC area in October. I hope I can consolidate my schedule a bit by then. This sounds like a lot of fun.
 
Got the latest e-mail, and it looks like a good spread of companies for all the different aspects and levels of aviation. Any chance of AirTran showing up? I'm looking at the FLTops job fair next month, and AirTran and Delta are the only people I'm interested in talking to. Delta's gonna be at Network JC (I can't call it anything else. :) ), so if AirTran might be there, there's really no reason for me to spend money and go to the "other" job fair.

Seriously, considering the amount of work and financial risk, if it bombs this year, it's probably the last one!

It's not like "The Eagles" where if you don't catch the farewell tour, well, you can catch the farewell tour in another year.
