Preliminary Schedule Up

The only thing we ask is that you do not back out of your reservation for a cheaper reservation elsewhere because if we don't hit our room block attrition values, then the perks we worked so hard to get will disappear.

Awesome, good to know. I should know well in advance of 7 days and if I'm going to stay anywhere why not stay were the party is! Got myself booked up, now to get a weekend off... hmmm.

Just booked my 3 night stay for Vegas.... Sunday -Wednesday Morning... $89 a night is freaggin AWESOME!

SERIOUSLY STOKED about going to Vegas and meeting some more great people....!!!

So, if I come this will be my first trip to Vegas. I was looking at the booking site and it's asking Deluxe King / Double. Does it matter which I select?

Also, if I book do I pay the 485$ up front? Deposit type system?

no, it doesn't matter...just a preference

you have to deposit the first nights stay via credit card

And you have to cancel how far out to get it back? 90% sure I can come, but we all know what can happen in a few months time.

The details about cancellation are on the Palms website.

Keep in mind that you're reserving the room with the hotel, not necessarily with us, so it's important that you read the terms and conditions of reserving with The Palms.

Any idea when the Suites are going to be listed on the Palms website link? I've been checking regularly, and I haven't seen them listed yet.

:dunno:

How many of these suites or rooms still available? Gotta try to find some cashola but I don't want to miss this for anything. Are the rooms going really quick?

I don't have any up-to-date booking numbers, but rooms for FRI and SAT are pretty well limited but we've got a good number on SUN, MON and TUE.

Dude, if she doesn't, we'll make a little drive out to the desert and bring one back. I think she'll be cool with you buying her a bus ticket for the ride back.

That's a great idea for a JC outing. If anybody hears HEY YALL LETS TAKE MITCH TO THIS RANCH THINGY I SAW A FLYER FOR, it's probably me.

IF you mix her a few drinks we can just leave her on the corner somewhere.... or with Mitch...

What kind of entertainment options are available for the event? I know we mentioned Rock Band or some other type of "team building/point-and-laugh-at-the-drunks" game for previous events. My buddy also lives in Vegas and plays in a band that I might be able to talk into it assuming it wouldn't totally destroy any noise restrictions.

we haven't really thought of entertainment for the networking event other than the basic music in the background thing. it would be neat to have some type of team building games or skits though....

I'm thinking a band might be too loud for the skyvilla such that it would overshoot any networking conversations. we also don't have any deneros for a band.

we're open for ideas...we can probably bring our Wii or something with us. it's just a matter of figuring how to set it up...we'll have to discuss!

No band.. but don't we always do Karaoke at some point? Maybe we could host our own karaoke party, etc? Getting a karaoke DJ probably wouldn't be too hard. Or just renting a machine and some squeakers.
