Make sure you tell the TKI controllers "student pilot" - they're really good about being patient with you and helping you out if you goof up or get nervous.

Who's your instructor?

When I called up on my solo and said student pilot, they said finally, you've been here for forever, then gave me my instructions :D

As dumb as it might be to answer for him, I will. He's flying with Richard Graham, the ret. Col Air Force instructor, F-4 and SR-71 pilot. Then 13 yrs with AA on MD-88's. So summed up, our instructor is a bad ass :bandit:

Yeah, kinda windy out there. Good luck.

Yeah I'm planning on saying that.

Like CN94559 said, Rich Graham is my primary instructor. He went to England for a while, so right now I'm flying with Richard Klein.

I've not met Rich Graham, but I have spoken with Richard Klein a few times. Very, very smart man, and has a good rep as an instructor - I've never flown with him, though.

He's a good guy. He knows what he's talking about and he keeps things light.

Rich Graham is also a great guy. His teaching style is a little bit different, he likes to get me into a rhythm.
