PNCL Files Chapter 11

Keep in mind that as a part of a Ch. 11 proceedings, the remaining CRJ-200 operation could be significantly reduced also...This is going to be a train-wreck as it unfolds, and can't wait to hear mgt tell us this all could have been avoided if we took a paycut. To expound on this further, it is disgusting that our senior mgt. team has not shown leadership by refusing their own pay increases. With the "aggressive" restructuring I'd say an out-of-seniority furlough is inevitable...

ANy thruth to the rumor that is it exactly 1 yr and 1 day since one of the former managers deplyed his golden chute and now is free in clear since its over a year?

God I'm so sick of reading this ignorant retoric from all these airlines. They tell the media and the consumer that times are tough due to fuel prices while telling labor its due to wages. All the while they stick it to the consumer and labor so management can have their hefty bonuses and then hide under the veil of bankruptcy. Congress needs to pass a "No Profit - No Bonus" law for corporate executives and we would stop seeing this retoric as much.
---END RANT

The bloch award will be followed. I'm assuming this means that many almost all cjc pilots will be on the street.

right, but with the bloch award, cjc pilots will be locked out of many positions for a while no? I do feel its only fair though

No out of seniority furloughs. They also won't say how many furloughs to expect. Looks like I'm on the streets.

How many pilots are supporting the Colgan operation?

I know there are roughly 200 supporting the 16 ATL -900s

Combining those two numbers might give us an idea of how many furloughs are bound to be coming down the road.

How? Most of the Captains are senior enough to bid over to the 9E -200 (with its pathetic excuse for a ratio). Colgan captains bid the -200, 9E guys get screwed again...
