1. Making an unpopular decision because it is the right decision.

2. Making sure that teammates or co-workers who contribute to your success get the credit.

3. Being genuinely humble in the environment you exist in.

4. Being able to discern between necessity and convenience.

5. Listening more than you talk.

6. Understanding that you don't know as much as you think you do.

7. Facilitating an open environment where those around you can grow and develop.

8. Be willing to lead by example.
