It looks coolish. BUT:

Incidentally, taking the power plant off the wing to change a cylinder is a "fun" part of Aerostar ownership.

Yes, he did. It's a pretty awesome airplane in piston form. It'll outrun a C90, but what Autothrust said is true, mx is just silly.
Coincidentally, you can pick one up for not much money at all considering the performance.
Oh, fun fact, iirc the airframe was stressed to +6/-3 in testing with no problems. Acro twin!
