Pimpin' the Deuce Stroller

Ha! Actually he was here in Tampa on my birthday and I didn't want him to think my wife was a prude for not drinking.

Funny, just today I found myself trying to figure out which of the double strollers would work better. I think you solved the debate for me.

Take his advice, we have both and the inline 2 is much better. The wider one can't fit down aisles and you need 18 wheeler driving skills to maneuver it.

Thanks brotha - we're really excited. We knew she was pregnant a couple weeks ago, but today was the first time actually seeing them on screen so it really started to set in. Will keep ya posted.

The best times in our marriage was just her, I, and the baby alone in the hospital room. It's almost surreal how connected you all feel.

PS - I will be the Godfather if you are looking for one.

I had two double strollers when my two were little bitty.

I had a tandem (Graco Duoglider) that I used for shopping, the mall, etc. It was narrow, dealt well with store aisles and was easy to maneuver. I had a side-by-side double jogging stroller (Dreamer Ditto) with heavier duty wheels and a fixed front wheel that I used for off-roading. Taking them out on the Monon trail, air shows, etc. The tandem's wheels did NOT do well off pavement, so if you're somewhere like an airshow where you'll have to be walking through dirt, go with the bigger wheels & a fixed front wheel of a true jogging stroller. The seats on the jogger were also more plush, and it even had shocks & springs on the wheels, making for a very comfy ride for the kids. That thing was expensive, but worth EVERY penny. I also got 3/4 of the purchase price back on it when I sold it when they got too big to use it anymore. BUT that jogger did NOT fit through standard doorways, so using it in a store or mall was out of the question.

*For any of you who are friends with me on Facebook - PLEASE don't mention this as we we haven't announced it to anyone but close family, but ...

Im not your friend. But I'm still going to announce it to everyone in my AF Reserve unit here in TUS. So there.

:)

You thinking hearing the HB for the first time is amazing - it only gets better, first time they fall asleep on you, first time when they are tired and cry with other people they snuggle up to you, the smile you get when you come home from work. Honestly parenting is by far the coolest thing ever. Parkey is only 7 months and when he was born i didn't think it could get better, then at 3 months when he smiles I thought that was the best but mate keeps getting better and better.

And for the record pregnancy sex is the best - only time when you are not stressed about getting pregnant or trying not to get pregnant.

You'd make a better Godparent than my redneck in-laws, I'll present it to the wife :)
