Seems like this stuff is getting snuffed in a hurry, news-wise.

Given that Ron Paul is pushing legislation to strangle this golden goose before it gets out any more out of control, I'm not surprised.
Frankly, I think it's crazy that nobody has asked aloud until recently who was SELLING all of the stuff that the government has been buying that the TSA uses. We're all a bunch of suckers, AGAIN.

Funny how none of this was talked about on the national media outlets. I can't find anything other than private news stating the fact, and no actual pictures of them being shut off.

This is the best I could find. I simply don't trust the other sources. This seems to be a New Jersy site.

I can personally tell you they were not in regular use at checkpoint 6 in the Lindbergh terminal at MSP. From what I could gather, they were being used for people who set off the metal detector.
