Nothing racist, I only included that becuase he is clearly white, sorry bro. Cop off the thread where we tried to guess who the member was based ona description... Jtrain was the member everyone assumed was black
 
While not specifically sold as a pilot shirt, I swear I saw an extra slim cut shirt at Express(I mean Espresssss) the other day with epaulet holders. :cool:

Gonna bump this again,

But I can't for the life of me find a place that sells a Button down collar, Long sleeve and fitted/athletic fit shirt. It's like i'm only allowed to choose 1 or 2 of those.
 
Van Heusen are fine if you get them dry cleaned and rotate them. Once you start throwing them in a washing machine they go down hill quickly.

I prefer 'made for me' items, shirts most of all. Mytailor.com is fav. Costs start at about $55 for a made to measure or standard size fit. Easy to use site here. Very user friendly, compared to many others I have tried. Shirts are made in Hong Kong, and take about 1 month to get. LOTS of fabric selections. I have mine all made with shoulder epaulets, at no extra cost. Boss, Joe Hemrajani, is very accessible via email or telephone. They do showings around the country, if you able to get there. I have not been to any. They also do slacks, suits, etc. I do get slacks made here also. Beauty workmanship, easy to use ordering and selection process...give it a look-see.
 
Just started my 121 career and I opted for the A Cut Above shirts instead of the Crew Outfitter "tents". The shirt is comfortable, but it seems to get dirty really easy. Also, the shoulder area has been stained by the very clean shoulder harness in the aircraft I fly. I have had no luck getting all of the stain out. Any ideas?
 
Some fine necroposting, there. I'm 5'10 145lbs. I recognized a long time ago that pilot shirts, up to and including the "athletic cut" ones are intended for dudes who listen to a lot of Rush Limbaugh and get excited when their BMI just limbos under the "normal" barrier. Thepoop does it matter to me if I look like I'm wearing a moomoo? I'm just working, here. You think the dude at the food kiosk, with a job so soul-deadening that we relatively lucky wage-slaves can't even imagine the daily drudgery and tedium of it, spends a lot of time worrying about how sporty he looks to his endless line of cow-like customers? I drive the taxi. You want me to look sharp, YOU pay the tailor. Otherwise, connect the ketchup-stain dots, MFers.

Pros: Quality of shirts, design, material, customer service
Cons: I am 5 ft 10in, 155 lbs, and I think the fitted shirts could be a little bit more fitted. Other con is that they don't have all the styles/designs available at all times, so you have to wait sometimes to get the shirt you want

You can order them tailored too, just can't return them.

"Shout" spray/stain stick on those areas every time you wash the shirt. Or try "GOOP" hand cleaner/stain remover from the automotive section at Walmart or auto parts stores. "GOOP" will even take black tarry wheel well/under wing gunk out of a shirt. Just rub it in and wash per the instructions.
