One of the old Vietnam-era rotor guys I used to fly Medevac, well, not exactly with, but around, had a motto: "Start off slow, and ease off from there". I strive to live up to that great aviator's motto every day of my life. Edit: Never saw this guy turn down a flight that wasn't straight through a Category 5 cell. "Work smarter, not harder" was the lesson I took.
