Pilot Shirts???

A Cut Above Uniforms...
http://www.acutaboveuniforms.com/
Pros: Quality of shirts, design, material, customer service
Cons: I am 5 ft 10in, 155 lbs, and I think the fitted shirts could be a little bit more fitted. Other con is that they don't have all the styles/designs available at all times, so you have to wait sometimes to get the shirt you want

I noticed that the first time I had to spend a lot of time ironing them, but after the initial ironing, they don't require so much ironing even after a wash if I take them out right away.

Iron? Man, you guys are washing your shirts wrong.

Yes, iron...as in, iron everyday. Keeps the shirt looking nice and you're able to steam out the smell of working in an airplane. Don't want to be one of those dumpy looking pilots with a shirt that's never seen an iron or much less bleach.

Get Landerwoods, I bought 3 of them when I started flight training, wore them on and off for 3 years now. For the last year I got them handwashed in a bucket and rubbed with a straw brush by my Maid in the South Pacific, they still look like new!!

I have the 700s

The have higher % of cotton then most other brands, they breathe better and they look like a proper shirt.

Landerwood is 100% American Made, owned and the Customer service is amazing.

I love button down shirts, I get mine custom made in Italy, so I know what I`m talking about, Landerwood are expensive but the quality is top notch and they will last you long time. I have owned and used other brands, the only shirt that is better are the standard issue for the USAF/Coast Guard, http://www.uniforms-4u.com/p-us-air-force-short-sleeve-dress-shirt-6829.aspx unfortunately they don`t come in white.

Maybe i flew freight for too long, but i just wore whatever i was given. If i was supplied two shirts, then those two shirts got worn; stains be damned. I always had a problem with shirts being too short, they would always come un-tucked.
