Mostly a way to get in an hour of flying for 1/3-1/4 the price. And practice air work with a view. Can't beat the photos when a plane is your tripod. I didn't use it for dates often since I'd have to pay the whole price LOL. Goodtimes when I did tho. Coming from LVK, I do a full stop taxi back in OAK hanging out the window to shoot whatever charters are at the North Field then on to downtown SF. Lots of fun. Coming from PAO/SQL, never know if you'll get approved a low pass down the 28s lol (the password is "ahoy").
