While Mr. Train is being a little blunt, I totally agree with him (except the generalization about "most controllers" on this site).

Seriously do not worry. Something similar to this happenend to me recently. I met with the FAA guy gave him my side of the story and a written statement. He didn't make a big deal about it at all. It was all just a little embarassing. They want it to be more of a learning experience. As a flight instructor this kind of stuff is going to happen, it comes with the territory.
