That's actually pretty standard. I heard skywest paid $5 and hour way back when and they pumped out 50 releases a day. Lol

My first dispatcher position started at $9.60 an hour. Of course, that was quite a while ago...adjusted for inflation, though, it would be about $16.20 per hour today.

Piedmont's rate looks decent to me, but I have no idea of what the cost of living is like in SBY.

For the time you go out for a coffee run and come back with a four cup holder of Dunkin, a four cup holder of Starbucks along with a few bags of food

I started at $14.50 in Cleveland and took over 3 years and my third regional to get to a point at which I lived in a hub for the airline I dispatched for.

Damn straight, every continent except Antarctica in Business class for $0, along with upper deck on the 747 DTW-ICN pre-Covid. Sadly, it is a completely different experience now and cargo is now my preferred method of travel...
