So just after the Cirrus Access post got heated lets take a poll. Should a Photo be included in a RESUME for a potential job and or required with a resume? Feel free to debate if you want.....I am leaving this one to JC to be debated, Merit please stay out and let the rest debate this without you and I having input.

No, not to mention illegal in several states.

EDIT: I know this wasn't supposed to be a reflection on the other thread, but looking at that, in the case of that job posting, a picture isn't out of line.

Sure, so long as the job you're looking for is in the model/ actor category.

:yeahthat:

Its just like with commercial vs. private aviation. A photo should be expected only if the applicant's appearance is NOT incidental to the job. In this case, I don't see how an applicant's appearance decides fitness for the job description (at least as a discriminator for first-round interviews).

I guess another exception would be the military. We get to discriminate ALL the time in awarding scholarships. We require a photo with all sholarship apps, and if they look fat or weird we get to say no thanks! What power. Muuhahahahaha!

meyers = drama/troll

Perhaps.... more so wanting the general thoughts of our fellow forum members..... But personal attacks are cool merit keep em coming if it makes you feel better....... I'm able to take it and turn the cheek like we are taught to....

Yeah, but that's just awesome! Besides, equipment doesn't have rights. :p

unless of course they want to be more personal and actually know who you are when you walk up. I have heard of providing a picture so they will get to know your face and hopefully put both of you at ease for the interview
