Look, if you REALLY wanna know that bad, look at Spirits payscale and read accordingly. Our payscale is not the topic of discussion. You have your answer now what?

But honestly, Chris.... If you want to post a picture and not have it end in a discussion, post it in the daily pic section or something. How can you not foresee a discussion coming up when you post it in the career specific section?!

You should be happy that you're at a company like vision, especially with a majority or tprop time. It makes it seem like you're embarrassed though when a simple question is asked and you go in circles with your answers.

Even when you finally did give a number, you gave something that could change on so many variables. Is it soo hard to say 'starting pay is $XX/HR with a guarantee of Y hours, second year goes to....'?!

Ps, you have a talent for taking pictures dude!

@SmoothLanderJ already posted a thread in the jobs available section describing pay and that Vision was hiring. But what you're not going to do is judge me based on this thread.

Do you realize that more people than just @ATN_Pilot might be interested in the full pay scales? I looked at the other thread, and all it says is $50-55k to start as an FO. That's great and all, but knowing what somebody could make 3, 5, or 10 years down the road is important to anybody who is considering applying. If the company asked you not to share pay scales then fine, don't, but I think if that was the case you would have already stated so. So again, what's the big deal about posting a little more info about pay scales?

Quite frankly you don't know me in person, or what I have done for those around me. I answered @ATN_Pilot's question and provided what our goal was with this operation. I have tried to remain professional throughout this thread while you and others bash the company and their intentions. Good for you. I'm not going to post about it any longer. Have a good night.:)

I'm going to tell you the same thing I tell gate agents who want to lecture me when showing up 20min before departure. "In the amount of time it took you to lecture your point, you could have done what I asked about 4x over." Stop being a child about this and just answer a question. No ones pay scales in the airlines are super secretive so stop acting like we are asking for the nuclear launch codes.

Stop being a child? Lol okay man. There's no need for the macho attitude, especially over JC.

Mike thanks dude. I still see yours pop up every once in awhile on beaches and eating first class meals lol. I'm not embarrassed to work here and quote frankly I'm happy I go on when I did. The PEX flying is not the only thing we are working on. There is growth on the B767 too. It's all over my FB and I posted it here.

Can someone please just post the freaking pay scale already? This is ridiculous and certainly doesn't look good for Vision if their own pilots are too afraid to even post them. Sorry @cmhumphr

It is $25,000 base and $30 per flight hour. Per diem is $1.75 domestic and $3.00 international. There you go. I don't know second year pay and I don't know what captains make. There really is no payscale to look at like the ones you see on APC. @ATN_Pilot @Pilotdude3407

Wait, the payscales aren't published anywhere? You really don't know what you are gonna make 2nd year? How does anyone make any plans going forward?

No pay scale? So for all you know, they could be paying you something different than they're paying another guy at the same longevity when you get to second year pay? Or when you upgrade? Wow.

IDK, that seems a rather lacksidasical attitude. If it works for you, that's cool. I just need more and better information to make life choices. Whatever, I hope it works out for you and the other employees. We're the ones who always end up paying the ultimate price for managment's bad decisions.

Edit: looks like you deleted your post. Not picking on you, I just think a lot of younger pilots need to be more proactive in getting all the gouge before making career decisions. We've seen what happened when an entire generation of pilots bought the regional spiel in the early 2000's without truly understanding what they were signing up for.

Sounds like a corporate flight department. Each year you would go to the chief pilot for an annual evaluation. Your pay raise was predicated on your performance (very subjective) so, theoretically, no two pilots were ever paid the same. Upgrade or transitions to other aircraft were determined in the same fashion. Chief pilot's buddy? All the better for you. But fortunes change with management in corporate. Reductions in force were similarly decided. Today's golden child is tomorrow's furlough fodder.

Sorry for the intrusion. Back on topic...

I tried to find payscales for similar operators online and was unable to find any. I figured Miami Air, maybe the old Pace (Hooters), etc would be on par.

There is no traditional pay scale. Vision is a non-union carrier so there is no contract. They are essentially a supplemental carrier and their pay is in line with other supplemental carriers. There are raises (a couple bucks an hour) for each year of longevity.

I was thinking about applying but the lack of info makes it hard to pull the trigger.

I also think the app window has closed, that doesn't help either.

We understand that there is no union and no contract. But you should also be aware that even for non-union supplemental carriers, not having an established pay scale is NOT normal.
Sorry, poor word choice on my part. I meant there isn't a published pay scale on APC or anything.
