Lamb and wine is actually more affordable than Keystone and Whataburger! :)

You bet. The Stop and Shop is 24h except for Saturday and Sunday nights. And no alcohol after 9pm, or on Sunday.

We have some 10yr port, but it's too sweet for me.... Mojito's may be in order.

I'm actually bidding off domesetic on the next bid, so it's gotta be soon. Massive burnout.

I'm here, work M 12:40am-7:30am, then T-R 10:40pm-7:40am, three day weekends.

Good luck with the bid!

Thanks bro. Hopefully more interesting "pix from the road" coming soon. Plus, I gotta fix Bogberto's tomorrow too...

I fly BUF-BDL every day. One roundtrip on the short days. Two roundtrips on the long days. No sitting around at airports or flow control delays. It's about the easiest airline flying out there.

Did I miss something here? Where does the MD80 fly outside the US? Canada or Mexico?

ok, I knew he mentioned going up to 757/767 but I never heard anything of him getting it.

quote 1 - he is bidding...on the next bid. Meaning he has not got it yet... I remember a quote from him, something along the lines of:

"I have this desire to fly huge chunks of metal across the ocean....."

quote 2 - I glanced over the delta schedule (Yes, I am bored. I am at work....)

quote 3 - see quote 1......

Back in a bit, Coffee's done....

600 hours and into a turboprop? Cool, I think that's a good speed for a 600 hour pilot (like me). In reality it's not THAT much faster than the Seneca you're already probably flying around. But a jet? That's an easy 400 knots faster.

Again, personal opinion.

Just going to nitpick here and tell you a jet is actually about 160 knots faster than a commuter turboprop and that's above 10,000'. The Saab trues out around 260-270.

Other than that I don't have anything unique to add to the main debate.
