While I think most of the story is a bit far fetched there is no doubt travel by air has become full of bull poopy. I hate seeing what this industry has become due to the race to the bottom for cheap tickets. I would love nothing more than to bring back the travel days in the 60's. But, I doubt anything similar to that would ever appear even if the airlines were regulated again.

Knock on wood. Never have I had any problems with air travel... :)

If he's so experienced, he'd know that weather can muck things up and that the airline isn't responsible and probably won't take care of you, and have hotels in mind to book.

Here's an idea, pay money for tickets. Airlines will stop over-selling and you can expect some quality in return. It's the customer who has turned air travel into 5$ pizza time and you don't hear anyone stupid enough to complain about little caesars lack of quality because they know they are not paying jack!

I got about 1/4 of the way thru it before I gave up.

Its pretty much blah blah blah, airline travel is the devil, blah blah blah...

He has a point. I mean yeah, what about measuring headwinds with those weather satellites or ground based monitors? Speaking of jackasses.....

Silence!!! Little Caesars is the jam.

Oh come on, guys, I think it's hilarious. It's a trip from hell and he's being tongue in cheek about it. Read it for the entertainment that it is.

@TWP, he did mention that he paid extra for plus seats. While not the norm, at least this guy put his money where his mouth is.

I do like this line though:
Buy the equipment, hire the people, and get the runways cleared.
HA! Ha ha. hahahahahahahahahahahha.

This is United we're talking about here. In Denver. You think they'd spend an extra dollar to do something as silly as be prepared for the weather they know is coming? AHAHAhahahahahahaha. And pay their rampers enough to come into work when the temp drops below, you know, like, 40? Hahahahahahahaha
