A while back a came across an job posting (on another site) that was hybrid between a finance professional and a pilot.
Basically, from what I recall, a large real estate development/construction firm was looking for a credit analyst/part-time pilot for its TBMs (700 and 850). I don’t recall many specifics such as salary or required qualifications, but it was basically a 3/4 credit analyst and 1/4 pilot work split. You could expect to several hundred (200-400) hours of flight time a year and have some access to the aircraft for personal flights. I believe that Simcom training was included.
Are these sorts of opportunities exceedingly rare?
