You dismiss him as someone who just wasn't good enough to be a pilot so that's why he hates pilots.
I hate the French, is it because I'm not good enough to be French? Certainly not. (and I don't really hate the French that much, it's just an easy analogy)
You can't cite contempt for someone as jealousy, that's a sign that you're cocky. And I'm not trying to call you out dude, I'm just saying that a mentality of "well he just wasn't good enough" by ANY pilot is what makes the stereotypes true.

What I meant was he was mad at the fact he lost his medical or something and now he pissed at pilots in general. It could work the same way in any other profession it just so happens this one is aviation and unfortunatly pilots have a stereotype like you said to come off cocky. I guess it just doesnt come out right when you type it in a forum...

I can be pissed at a group of people (politicians) and not ever have been one, so why do you insist he was one, but wasn't good enough to make it, or lost his medical and got bitter? Oh, that's right, because you're an ERAU kid who is contemplating going to Gulfstream...

Chris....do you have any idea how funny this is to me?
Being that I graduated HS in 1989 in Arizona and had all the AFROTC kids playing volleyball, wearing Serengetti shades and wanting to go to Embry Riddle in Prescott.
