Pan American Airways is back/been back...

Just noticed that there was no Pan Am reflection on the wing.
Bingo. Plus the N# from a Hughes helo in Vanuatu. But I will say that the up-dated Photoshopped livery does look current.

I hope not to see it at a concourse near me.

Dear Pan Am present owners and future purchasers. Bernie Lomax called and he wanted his "Gosh dammit, I'm dead, stop using me as a prop in your masturbatory folly and bury me already" shtick back.

Dude shows up for class at 8am and is issued an ID. By 12 noon, said ID is taken away and he is escorted off the property.

Moral= When leaving your previous employer, two weeks notice is the norm, not walking out of a rotation mid way through on the first day of class. All it takes is one call to tell them what to did and suddenly you are the most unemployable pilot in the country.
Wouldn't that be considered illegal?

Truth is a pretty solid defense against libel & slander. It's also fairly hard to prove conclusively that a former employer said something that KOed your new job. You may know it, he may know it, but the judge doesn't.

There's a difference between "You know what that sonofa..." and "He gave notice at 9:00am on Monday, and left within the hour, taking all the paper clips from his desk."

Burning bridges usually returns to haunt you!

Fine print: I'm not an attorney, and haven't been sued, at least lately.

As a probationary employee, you can be terminated for anything, including poor decision making skills. If you don't think that airlines don't talk to one another, at least at the CP level, you will be in for a rude suprise.
