IMS, neither can the V-22, at least not internally; it’s a vertical load or whatever the rotor heads call it.Watched another video which said that the main reason the C-2s are being replaced is because they can't carry the F-35's engines.

I’m pretty sure they worked that out and they can carry the engine internally. I’m not sure what they had to do to make that happen.
