Actually, the best place in Orlando for QUALITY private and instrument instruction is the Orlando Aero Club. Nice bunch of people and well-maintained aircraft. Visit them on the web at www.orlandoaeroclub.org. The monthly club meetings (see web site for time and place) are open to prospective members.

I would beg to differ on this subject. I did my Private at Air Orlando (http://www.flyairorlando.com) and they are some of the best people I have met in aviation. I was my instructor's first student and he did a great job! All of the instructors there are quality trained, the maintenance is great, the rates are reasonable, and the facilities are awesome.
