OIF Veterans

I remember diverting to Al Jabr once...everyone was b*tching about the food and the limited phone calls home. It was SWEET dry land for my crew....sucked going back to the boat.
 
Hey all, Im a longtime lurker, first time poster here on the site, im an E-3 loadmaster going to Air force special ops, Combat shadows, so ill see my time over there once i get out of special ops training. Ill look for some of you guys over there =-D

Ali Al Salem??? I think that Wolverine will be closed this month as well as Al Udeid. What other bases are in Kuwait?
 
I'm not sure of my exact assignment, but I'm sure I'll hit all the key spots on my tour. I'll be with the Army C-12 flight detachment ... I believe at Ali Al Salem.

Well I am going to Salem as well so you will have to give me the the keys to the C-12 sometime and let me take it for a joyride. I have flown planes on flight simulator before so it should be an easy transition for me

What do you think, a JC Network International symposiam to be held at Ali As Salim AFB in Kuwait sometime this fall. All are invited, just stop by and see your local Armed Forces Recruiter for directions.
Seriousy all who will be there look me up, I should be easy to find as it will be a very small flight detachment. Just look for the Army C-12 ( B-200 King Airs ). I'll be there from Oct 04 thru Mar 05.

They got a pool at Ali Al Salem, so thats where I will be if I am not at work or at the gym. Oh and did I mention they have hard billets, I dont want to spend another night in a tent for at least another year, unless I am camping.
