Oh Oh Ohhhhh GLP-1!!!

Well, the Wegovy pill sounds promising.

I'm going to try one more week of the 1.7mg Wegovy injection and see how this next week goes. I have one trick that I implemented last week that actually worked. it kept me from vomiting the morning after taking the injection, such a nice change! So I'm going to try that trick again and see if it continues to work. It's the only hurdle I care about. The rest of the GI BS, as much as it's unwanted, I can deal with.

If not, I'll be having a convo about switching from injection to pill or maybe Foundaio pill. I still really want to lose another 15-30 lbs though, get to my college or better yet HS weight. :(

I started off with Tirzepitide peptides, if I remember correctly about 2 years ago, before moving to Zepbound (which physically made me feel like I had the flu every week, worse than Wegovy) then switched to Wegovy.
I would love to see R&D (research & development) come out with a version of these drugs that has no side effects so anyone and everyone can benefit from it.

My other half just started the journey a couple of weeks ago on the Wegovy - it's been pretty awful for her with the side effects. Nausea and just overall energy stuff. And she is only on "level 1" of the Wegovy - the .25. One thing that did help a lot last week was her doc started giving her a B-12 shot on "shot day" - she did the 2nd one yesterday along with the 3rd wegovy injection and I'm hoping to hear some good news before I launch out of the islands back to NYC when she wakes up.
