Be a pilot, not an automation manager, especially when low to the ground. Fly the airplane through a go around. Fiddle fark with the automation later, like when you are not right near the ground. The jet flies fine without TOGA having to tell you where to pitch to on the ADI.
 
I was going to type Airbus FTW, as I feel it is a superior system and actually has a manual component to it, then I remember theres been some recent A321Neos smashing the tail on over zealous go around rotations.
