official "waiting for FOL from NYC PEPC" thread

Today at 10:30am:

Basically this is referring to the person in charge of terminal dates. That person has moved onto another job and now there are 2 people who have the list of applicants that are cleared and hopefully will be giving us class dates to put you in within the next couple of days.

Today at 4:46pm

We have received all of your clearance and Air Traffic has requested a class date of September 25th. Please let me know if you will be available to be in that class.

Thank you sooo much and here's to wishing that this is just the beginning of a mass wave of classes being assigned to us...especially the 07 folks who have had to adopt the NY PEPC thread as the nearest home becasue all of our other people already got their FOLs. Thank you NY PEPC peeps for taking us strays in!!!!

Nothing can truely express how I feel. I went jumping and hoping down all the halls and in all the rooms at my mom's house....we were all screaming like banchees!!!! What a relief!!!!

My advise....study! I studyied for 5 hours straight today...My hand hurts from writing so many notes, but it worked!!! right about the time I was done studying my email arrived in my inbox. I know this because I had to meet my uncle at the hospital at 5 and to get there from the park I was studying in I had to stop at 1/4 to to leave at 10 to 5.....My FOl arrived at 4:46pm....Now that's some freakin timing!!!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for you guys too....and thanks again for all your support...past, present and future!!!

and boomer..I don't have to go down there dude...it's coming to me!!!! It's my congratulations present!!!! ha ha ha
 
I also got the email version of my FOL earlier this week! I start class on November 10th--going to ZKC. Anyone else out there in this class?
 
I just got a call from OKC about an hour ago telling me my class date is being moved back 3 days. :( Anyone else hearing of date changes?!?
 
In the world's cruelest twist of fate, today (9/26/2008) more than 2 MONTHS since I found out my medical was denied at the NYC PEPC for the medication I take, all my references and my address verification references, including my wife!, got the verification forms to fill out from the Office of Personnel Management!

I don't know whether to be extremely ticked off or just laugh about how stupid it is that they just got the forms after being informed in writing that I was medically disqualified on July 30th.

(Oh Yeah, and they weren't lost in the mail, they were post marked 9/23/2008) :banghead:

My date today was changed to 3 MONTHS earlier than previously scheduled (from Jan 30th to Oct 9th) which gives me a little less than two weeks to get packed and obtain housing and etc. I was told that the class dates for 2009 have been cancelled (for now at least), and the next date she had was for the Spring of 2009.

btw i was at the LA PEPC and am an Aug 2007 applicant going to ZOB
