Just called the medical office in Chicago,

I was not given much info to go on. they did not say if I failed or passed. All that Annie said is that they will clear all those eligible for clearance by the 10th of June.
Do not know if that is good or bad.............guesss I will sit back and wait some more.:panic:

I have never taken the other test that you mentioned. When you get questions like, "Do you sometimes lie?" Well sure I have lied in the past but what constitutes "sometimes". I just looked at the test as an employment test and not as a Personality Test. After thinking back to when I took it I wish I could change some of my answers. Hopefully I will have a good retake and get a class date sometime after October.

I called medical in chicago and they told me I passed the MMPI and that their target was to have all medical clearences done by june 15...
thought ya'll (notice, I'm from the south) would like to know.

OK guys and girls here’s the lowdown on the PEPC forms.

[FONT=&quot]FAA Form 8500-8, Application for Airman Medical Certificate.
do not fax this form in, you will complete an official carbon copy form at the PEPC, but fill it out before hand and then just copy all the info onto the Carbon copy form.

OF 306, Declaration for Federal Employment[/FONT] [FONT=&quot]
DOT form 1631, Disclosure and Authorization Pertaining to Consumer Reports Pursuant to the Fair Credit Report Act- fax in both of these forms and also bring back up copies to the PEPC.

Also Fill out your E-Qip electronically and release the Document via the [/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]E-Qip website as instructed. Bring the authorization form at the end of the E-Qip to the PEPC. This Form authorities a Background check and needs to be singed and dated.

*You must fax in your OF 306 form first in order to be granted access to the E-qip. So you should complete the 306 ASAP and fax it in because it takes about a week to get E-Qip access. I also recommend filling out the Sf85-P for Terminal and the SF-86 for en-route first and then just transfer the information to the E-qip when you receive access. Be aware that Terminal fills out the SF85-P and en-route fills out SF-86 for E-Qip[/FONT]

I called Annie today and asked if the mmpi results were in yet. She asked me if I attended the chicago pepc, and then when, and then my name (twice) and then she said *heartbeat* *heartbeat* *heartbeat* Well,.......*heartbeat* *heartbeat* *heartbeating very fast* All I can tell you now is that ...........*heartbeating really really really really really very fast* ......is that you passed the mmpi......and I should have everything to your Hr Rep by the 10th. Call her by the 15th if you don't hear anything.....(This is when I did a run, dance, skip, jump, burst of excitement to my wife to tell her the news). So glad the worry and wait (at least for a couple more weeks) is over.

called chicago...

for some reason she seemed rather hesitant to say the words "You passed" but I asked her about it and she said 'did you get a phone call notifying you that you didn't pass?'

when I said no she said "well, there's your answer"

I got a date of June 10 for my FOL to be forwarded to my HR. :bandit:

Well add me to the list of failing the mmpi, called them today and got the unfortunate news.

now its time to wait 10 days to get an email, to get a paper, to sign and send back, to get a psyche evaluation.

I think if this tested waiting and patience I would have passed with flying colors.

keep your chin up! it's not terribly bad to have to re-take.. from what I hear the re-eval has a high success rate.

Seems kinda strange that it's exciting to be able to tell your wife that you're not crazy... but now you have psychological proof!

Well, she is from St. Louis. If your heading there, and your a "Southern Boy", you're gonna need some proof for them to think that you're not crazy.

Congrats Raydon.... Looks like you and I are the only passers thus far....and we are both headed for facilities with high demand. I'm assuming that we will have the same class date.... Here's to OKC by August.

we're not the only ones, but even at that for chicago-goers, it's a tentative "pass."

I won't believe a darn thing until I'm sitting in the classroom on day 1 hearing my name called during role.

but here's to crossed fingers!

Very tentative. I was also told that it would be at least October before we could start. But, as a major relief, you can add me to the passed list!

Very possible. I'm not giving up hope that they're going to try to push Hawaii/Alaska/Louisiana applicants through for summer start dates but you never know.

Glad to see it's panning out for a few of us thus far. We've been in the ringer together for a good while and it's cool to see some good results!
