I recieved a phone call from my air traffic manager a couple weeks ago and was fortunate enough to be able to visit with him in person. He had a lot of insight about the academy because his son is down there right now. The most important information he could give me was to not expect an academy date any sooner than August-September time frame. Hearing this from my future boss has put me at ease a little and hopefully I can enjoy my summer a little more.

So has anyone given a call to the medical division in Chicago this week. Keep us updated if you do so that we can find out our MMPI Results.

I called HR Rep T.O. today and they relayed an instant message to the MMPI people while I was on the phone..

only response was "Delayed due to database issues"

no ETA for a resolution so it's up in the air same as always

Well I would say I am suprised, but I'm not. Well I will continue to check my inbox every hour on the hour.

Here is an update, sorta. Called back up to Chicago (They really hate me now :rawk:) and spoke with annie. I told her that I wanted to know if there was anything that they needed from me in addition to the info I had to get them after the PEPC. She stated that they were reviewing all 109 files this week so that when the MMPI results are in they are all completed. Called T.O. (awesome by the way) and she stated that from what she understands there is a scoring issue with the MMPI tests. Not sure what that means but just thought you would like to know. I have now told myself not to call back in until the 18th. So if any of you get additional info in between now and then please let us know.

When I spoke to Annie around 4/28, she told me to call back if I didn't hear from my HR rep by 5/11. So, I will do so then and post an update (if need be) Hopefully we will hear something by the end of the week.:eek:

All 109 files? so are you saying that only 109 people attended the Chicago PEPC? I thought they process like 50 people a day, that would mean they only were processing like 22 people a day. Does that sound right?

I can't speak for other days of the PEPC, but I would say that sounds incorrect for Wednesday. Guessing of course, I'd say there were between 30 and 40 people there. I also left around 1430. So take it for what it's worth.

Yea that number has to be off. On monday there were well over 40 people. I talked to Annie today and she still had no word of the MMPI tests.

I can't really imagine people not getting a TOL unless they had a terrible interview and/or failed the medical though. I sure hope I'm in that 109 somewhere preferably near the top! :)

I am trying to keep my mind off it all. Thankfully, my life is so busy right now that it is kind of easy to do. In the meantime I have started a new job just in case things don't work out. They told me at the PEPC that it would be a solid eight weeks before we heard anything and that if we hadn't in eight and half weeks, give them a call. But, I certainly appreciate everyone else calling so I don't feel alone in not hearing anything!

it could be a lower number b/c they can only push so many through at this very moment (with classes almost completely full).. and they may be focusing on the critically staffed areas + a few others that have higher needs than others at this point in time.

if the above were true I don't think that would necessarily mean that everyone else is going to be delayed for much much longer than those 109 individuals, but they're going to push those guys through first.

maybe...

All I know is she said 109 files to be reviewed. Maybe she meant they had 109 left to go. I attended the PEPC on Thursday and it was pretty full. Well all you folks who call on 5/11 make sure to keep us updated. I am not calling until 5/18, hopefully we will hear something before then.

I spoke to Annie again yesterday. She said that now they are not expecting results until June.:(

Another week down. Even though we have been told to call back in June, if anyone finds out anything next week, please let us know.
