Hey I got the same date as well. Kinda weird date huh, its a thursday and new years eve lol. Im happy though. Will be 1.6 years for me.

Before anyone asks, I was Pub3.

I was wondering the same thing. Kind of a downer to see pubnat 3ers for ZOA still waiting. ugghh

I didn't even realize you were headed there also! Congrats. We may end up at OKC together at some point. Where are you from?


I just recieved a letter from the FAA Saturday saying that I need to get a new drug test done. I suppose it has been about 6 months since the Chicago PEPC in March. I want your guys' thoughts on this... Could their wanting me to retake the drug test now mean that they have a possible opening waiting to be filled by me at OKC?

I get the impression that they don't have us retake tests like drug or medical until they're ready for us, so I would think you # is coming up soon.

I agree. I retook my drug test today. Headed for OKC on Dec 31st. So your ticket to OKC, at least I would think, is coming up. :D

But who knows. Maybe their just teasing you :insane:

I am from the only place that has a blue football field.... Boise, Idaho. I hope you get a class date soon cuz that means that I move one step closer. Hope to see you in OKC

Hmm... I had my PEPC last January and have been in contact with my HR guy in recent weeks. I know my drug test needs to be retaken before I go to OKC but he hasn't mentioned it to me yet. Seems like he's trying to get me a class date any day now as well... so I guess I should be on the lookout for a letter then

I JUST GOT A CLASS DATE FOR NOV 5th!! YES!! I was a PUBNAT 2er so this was a LONG wait.. I'm so ready to leave!! FYI I am terminal....

Congrats Antony! Looks like there is hope for our facility afterall. Any chance you can tell your HR rep you want to bring your fellow Omaha boy along with you to OKC? Just kidding. I'm still tied up waiting due to this MMPI stuff delaying me. 17 months and counting. Good for you though, I know you waited even longer.

Congrats and see you at Eppley someday.

Were you quoted anything specific about a class date? I was wondering if you were told "not until FY2011" or anything similar -- basically wondering if you were one of the reduced hiring number facilities or not.

A couple people on SM have been told there are no class dates until July/August of 2010. Ugh!

I would imagine those are for the facilities that suddenly put their hiring numbers to 0. For those of you who got the word your facility wasn't taking new hires this year, did you have to ask your rep that specifically, or did he/she volunteer that info?

Mine volunteered the information when I was asking about a class date last month. She told me that 25% of her facilities in the Central region were dropped to 0.
