My guess is that she got about 5,000 e-mails on Friday and Monday. I did not even bother e-mailing or calling. I might check in with her in August (BR told me that is when they will know the class schedule for October).

:yeahthat: My thoughts exactly.

I took the risk on monday and emailed b.r.'s replacement using my age as an excuse for the email. She got right back to me and told me that we should hear something in Aug/Sept. Maybe the only reason I got a response back is because my 31st. birthday is in 2 weeks, but I've got my FOL so no worries.

Looks like they have created the first FY10 classes for terminal basics......

There are 8 classes in the catalog with the first 1 starting November 20

I have noticed quite the change in your posts ever since you got a class date, you seem to want to add your .02 to everything on here.
Just FYI I do not e-mail HR every day either. I only post on here whenever I can provide some new info for the rest of us awaiting a class date.

Nothing personal.......just my .02

Just out of curiosity, where does one find the scheduled class dates? Also, does anyone know how many people are in each class? Not your physical classroom, but the number of ppl who start at the same time.

That wasn't directed at you :) I say things like that because it's inevitable.

However, I know how some people can get when they find out new information.

Your posts will change when you get a class date too.

This is good news that there's classes being listed. Surprised there's none in October, though. I wonder how many terminal-non-tracon people are out there that are ready to go. Anyone know?

Maybe they'll start assigning class dates soon.

Re: ** Official "Slated for Next Fiscal Year (Oct. 2009)" Th

I don't know but there are 13 En Route Basic courses listed starting between 10/6/09 and 1/26/10, starting in one to two week intervals, so it is looking pretty good for the en route people.

Don't get me wrong, I would be thrilled to have that November 20th Academy date, but being in OKC for Christmas and New Years seems like it would be pretty rough!

Does anyone know if a CTI graduate can opt to take the Basics class (Terminal) or are they forced to bypass it? I'd prefer to take it since my school was awful. Thanks for all the help on here!

Re: ** Official "Slated for Next Fiscal Year (Oct. 2009)" Th

No way. That makes way too much sense!

They will probably fill the classes based on facility need, not waiting list seniority

I was under the impression that everyone got the same schooling at OKC, but wth do I know?

CTI grads usually skip the basics portion. I'd start calling those guv'mint phone numbers and asking if you're a CTI graduate and you really want to take basics.
