I am assuming that the importance of staffing facilities in greater need is higher than who got their TOL's first.

From what I've been hearing/seeing, facilities in need and when your clearances expire seem to be highest importance. I don't think they really care when you got your TOL, especially if you hit some sort of snag during the clearance process (i.e. security clearance, MMPI, etc). One would hope, however, that those under the early pubnat's will make it in to their facilities before later pubnat's going to the same facility. If it doesn't work that way, then it's truely bonkers, isn't it?

Oh, and one final thought. Remember when we were all sweating how to prepare for that AT-SAT? Remember how terrified you were of what your score would be? All seems so irrelevant now. Who would have guessed this is where we'd all be at this point?

Batman.....you're going to grand rapids....probably not as much need there as there is at my lvl 12 tracon....its the third busiest in the nation and has lots of retirements coming up....infact....some retirees are waiting until more developmentals get CPC......good luck buddy....you'll get your date man.....it wasnt like I told HR...."Hey give me a class before batman". Just remember one thing.....Grand Rapids vs Level 12 Tracon with critical shortage....I think that is the reason for my date. Good luck buddy :)

Yeah, just hang in there guys. Facilities below level 10 are going to struggle mightily getting class dates. Tracons and Centers are going to be constantly moving as soon as there is room. Just keep hanging in there.

Spoke with E.M. today. That woman is so nice! What a breath of fresh air in this whole process! Anyways, she told my that my facility has 5 open slots for FY2010, so it looks like no re-direct for me! She said that I should have a class date soon and that they will definitely get me in before my clearances expire in February. It's not the class date I was looking for, but I feel a whole lot better about everything now. All the re-directs in the Mid-West had me pretty on edge the past couple of weeks...

I know, but it seems I have also seen people from smaller facilities getting class dates from later PUBNATs as well. Maybe I am just starting to hallucinate...who knows. Congrats again, hopefully I'll be in OKC by the time you PV! :beer:

I'm going to a level 6, but it's also a hard-to-staff facility, that probably explains my early class date.

EM told me yesterday still a few weeks out. Also, to call if I haven't heard anything by mid October. More pushing back.

Finally got my class date!! I got the call from R.A. yesterday. Headed to OKC October 7th. Then headed to Van Nuys tower after the Academy. It's been a long time coming! I am coming up on two years since I applied to Pubnat2. Believe me it's worth the wait!! Good luck to everyone else, I hope all you guys hear some good news soon.:laff:
