Official PUBNAT2 "Initail Contact Email"

The FAA is definetely screwed up. I just got a letter from them saying I have been selected for ZNY (NY Center). I think it is interesting because I asked for NY and NJ terminal only. What a weird thing. I am going to have to call them and make sure it is right since some people got a letter correcting it.

Yup, you can. Just find someone willing to trade with you and then you have to talk to your HR reps. It has been done, the hard part is finding someone willing to trade.

Will anyone list the time spamts on their e mails that they are getting. Is the FAA still sending them out today or did they just send a group of them in the morning?

Has anyone recieved notice in the DFW area?
 
Alright... guess I'm burying the hatchet on Pubnat2... just to verify does anyone know of any qualified applicants who got a PEPC invite? It's nearly the end of the day and no email yet... qualified applicant both terminal and enroute for OH and CA...

I don't know who posted it, but someone talked to HR, they did not get to the qualified applicants on this go around, I'm sorry.
 
PEPC invite and ZME here, though I was wanting (and thought I was going to get, I was on the ATM's list) ZTL. I'm open to trades if someone isn't picky about their location...
 
I was terminal only for FL and GA. Got the PEPC email today for Atlanta ARTCC. No correction yet. I called to ask about it, but no one was in the office. I would rather keep this than get a terminal in FL though. The ATL area is what I really wanted.
 
Has anyone who received the "initial contact" email from earlier today and yesterday, not receive the PEPC invite email?
I received the first one, but have not gotten the PEPC email.

Got ZTL, My first choice with GA & FL Both En-route and Terminal

I knew it would come when I least expected it(like the ATSAT email.)

luck i guess? i just wrote in my geo prefs that i was from san francisco and would hope to stay in the bay area...that's about it. i really don't know how they work, but it works out great for me.
 
just got mine, but bittersweet for me as well. I choose IL, OH terminal only and they put me in the enroute center in Oberlin, OH. I did terminal only specifically to avoid that center. Hopefully I will be able to find an opening somewhere else i dont know...
 
when you folks say they didnt get around the qualified this time and they will soon what does that mean? i havent recieved an email yet, and hope to get in for pub3.

Honestly, I don't think we do know what it means, it is probably proper propaganda from the FFAA meaning that they don't know if they will use the qualified applicants, my only advice is, if you get another Geo-pref. e-mail you can attempt to pick the high want areas, or you can see if they can just throw you into a low demand area, AK, Guam, PR, USVI etc.
