yeah, me and Mr. Met are with ya chichi...i dont think the North East (NJ and up) have gotten theirs yet. the others probably got WV which was one of their choices

well, someone did say in another thread that the FAA told him/her it would be 2-4 weeks before any of the selection e-mails would be sent out. The panels ended last Friday and exactly 1 week later the e-mails start coming out.

I'm hoping for earlier! :)
 
I picked GA and ??? I think Indiana? I don't remember and i can't look it up. I'm assuming I got picked for whatever I picked that is not GA :crazy:

That's the point I am getting at. Say we receive another e-mail November 1st to schedule a PEPC. The earliest PEPC for PUBAT2 is rumored to be November 17th. Say someone gets into that PEPC and passes all tests, checks, etc. It takes an additional 6-8 weeks to get a FOL and be scheduled for a class date after your tests come back or are checked and are 'okayed.' At the earliest, someone from PUBAT2 would get into OKC would be... The beginning of January 2009.

that'd be fine by me, my contract here is set to expire at the end of 2008. who knows if I'll get renewed?
 
Got mine here too...I tried to not sleep and kept checking but BAM! there it was just now!

I also recieved a follow up email with CORRECTION in the subject line and I read this first...
"I must apologize to you. The position you have been selected for is a terminal position NOT an en route position. For the past year I've been doing all en route hiring and moved to terminal hiring this week."

I thought it meant I was accidentally sent the wrong email and not selected, but I was wrong!

Congrats to all, and hang in those waiting. I chose Nevada and Arizona (I think) as my two locations.

NatPub2 is cool- it's kinda funny. I like the way it sounds your way better.

Thats interesting because it suggests that the emails are being set out individually or at least in small batches.

Still going to continue to freak out untill I get it though.

Shows it was sent at 0730 this morning, if that helps. (I'm in Montana mountain time, if that makes a difference as well.)
 
Just got my email today around 11am EST, it looks like it's for terminal, i had put in for either. My Geo pref's were IN and FL, well qualified, prior military, etc...for those who are trying to figure out how the emails are coming out.
