NYC PEPC peoples

I just wanted to congratulate all of you who have completed your PEPC, and to wish those who still have theirs to complete, good luck.

So ATL must be really shorthanded. On my flight from MSY to ATL, we got on a holding pattern for nearly 15 minutes. Then we couldn't taxi to the gate for an other 15 minutes.

Unfortunetally, i booked my layover a little too close to the arrival time.

So here's to rebooking and not getting to JFK until 6pm!!:banghead:

btw dredding. im still gonna make it.... even if i have to dive out the plane and land in hardrock!

My appointment was 9am Monday. I come from Florida, and that walk from Fairfield Inn to the FAA had to be the coldest weather I've ever felt in my entire life. And the wind chill in the early afternoon when I left was crazy piercing cold!! I used to think business suits were warm. :)

All in all, everything went well. I know that I passed everything and the only thing I'm not sure about is the mmpi. Some of those questions were strange in that if I interpreted it one way my answer was false, but if I interpreted it the other way it was true. So I didn't know what they were asking sometimes. The test is also 567 questions now if I remember right. I think i finished it in about an hour and just went as fast as I could since thats probably my best bet. It looks like Okalahoma City dates won't be until June or later. Good luck to everyone.

How do we know who we are looking for? I might like to meet up. I am heading into the city now.

i didnt make it:(

we landed 20 minutes late...then after that i swore that we landed in new jersey and taxied to NYC.

all in all i didnt get out of the plane until 7.

and by the way...ITS FRIEKIN COLD!!!!!!klshakldfhalksjdfh:panic:

HAHAHA....welcome to NY!

Sorry we missed you Ferret. Was nice to put faces to names. Maybe you can hook up with some of the people from today.

TOL in hand! Interview was relaxing. They just asked the basic questions that have been addressed before. Went to MMPI which I think I did well on but who knows. It was 567 questions long and the questions were just your basic stuff. "Are you satisfied with your sex life?" etc. all were true/false answers. Don't stress about it. It's easy. Just go with your first reaction. Medical was just that. The whole process was only 4 hours long. I was the second person done that day and we were out the building by noon!!!! :nana2::nana2:

Congratulations to you all! I only hope it is as easy when I head to the Chicago PEPC next month! How is it different for Enroute guys vs. Terminal guys?

The PEPC wasn't that bad, just relaxed and got everything knocked out. Now it is time to hurry up and wait for the FOL....

Hehe ya she is! Gloria was real cool too.

For those future PEPCers, dont sweat it. Even the people who dont seem so pleasant over the phone or by e-mail turned out to be very supportive and cheerful.

end result is that everyone wants you to pass.

PEPC was really good. So relaxed. Everyone was great.

My BP was a little high, but the Flight surgeon said it was no big deal. I had to report on the form that I have asthma. Really mild asthma. I take an inhaler like once a month. He gave me a form to have my doctor fill out, and make the doc do a breathing test as well. He was pretty cool and said it was really no big deal, just standard procedures. Just a heads up to anyone that has asthma as well. You might wanna stop at your doc beforehand and have the test done and bring the documentation. I had like every medical file in the world besides that, of course. And he didn't look at a damn thing. Nothing from my surgery. Nothing.

dredding - Sorry I didn't get to return your call or go out with you guys, murphy's law was kicking my ass the last couple of days.
