NYC PEPC peoples

So are you guys planning on walking / bussing it or is anyone planning on renting a car? From the sound of it as long as you're in the Fairfield Inn / Holiday Inn right by the airport it should be easy to get by without a car.

No point in renting a car, everything should be in pretty close proximity to the airport. Worst case senario, hail a cab.

I need to know what time the PEPC will be over so I can book my flight back home. Should I call the contact?

I'm in for friday the 27th! *claps hands** this is so exciting* (Pineapple express) Anyways, so it looks like the fairfield inn is the place to be after arriving at JFK?

Hoping to stay at the Fairfield if you knuckleheads don't book all the rooms first! I'll hopefully be staying on Marriott Points, since my dad traveled for work 95% of the time and has some kind of elite status with as many nights as he's stayed there. Party in the penthouse suite! :rawk:

It's 0.7 miles from the FAA Regional Office, according to Google Maps. Having never been to NYC, I have no idea what the traffic situation is there or how easy it would be just to walk that.

Also:
"Hotel also offers round the clock complimentary shuttle service to & from JFK Airport." Maybe we could get them to drop us off as a group at the FAA Regional Office, since it's right next door? I'll have to check on that.

Yeah man I'm confirmed for friday as well. I booked the hotel for thursday night and friday night. Not leaving until Saturday night hopefully can get on some tour bus of nyc on saturday...haven't been there before. :rawk: Anybody down?
 
11am on the 25th! finally got the confirmation. I'll be there from tuesday till thursday. Hoping to do some sight seeing myself.
 
I still haven't gotten a scheduled time... I got a second email confirming the date with a few forms. I want to wait to book my plane tickets until I know what time I will be finished...

I hear ya, I just gave in and am staying until the day after. My appt is at 11am and the email says 5.5 to 7.5 hours... thats pushing it to catch a flight home. Oh well, more time to venture in nyc.
 
I just got the email for ZDV PEPC on Monday, 02-23 confirmed. Still waiting on the time. I am flying in on sunday and out on Tuesday. Time to cash in on some Holiday Inn points. Not sure how far the walk is to the FAA building but shouldn't be to bad.
 
This is what my HR rep said about the location

Jamica, NY, we are flying into JFK. I believe it is at the Eastern
Region Medical Office. Jamaica, NY...

I am shooting for 23 or 24. waiting.
